The Association of Women in Communications – Denver Professional Chapter welcomes all who want to promote the advancement of women in the communications marketplace and further their own careers. Membership brings many benefits, foremost of which is the chance to connect and network with fellow members on a regular basis. There is a multitude of disciplines within the communications field represented by our members, allowing professionals to connect with others who can complement their own expertise and help further their careers. Our events offer networking and educational opportunities as well as the chance to make some great friends.

Membership applications and information are on the national Web site at http://www.womcom.org/membership/join.asp. Sign up to become a member of both the national and local Denver chapter. National membership is required to join a local chapter.

Membership Levels

Professional Membership is available to women or men with two years communications experience or a degree as a professional communicator. Graduating student members also are eligible, often at a discounted rate on the AWC national site.

Student Membership is available to women or men working full-time toward a degree (undergraduate or graduate) who demonstrate a commitment to a communications career and above average scholarship. This membership is also available to high school students. Eligibility for Student Membership ends three months after graduation.

Corporate Membership is open to companies whose goods and services would be of value to AWC members.
